Creme Cafe & Lounge

One of the first places I visited for brunch before moving to Washington DC was Creme Cafe and Lounge. I have recently rediscovered Creme and love the fact that they have Saturday and Sunday brunch. The space is small and it is a popular place for brunch so one recommendation would be to get there early.

A great perk at Creme is the bottomless Mimosa’s. And I never saw the bottom of my glass!

My friends all ordered the chicken and waffles. They loved the chicken and swore someone’s grandmother was in the back frying chicken.

I had the Chesapeake Eggs Benedict and literally devoured it! The crab cake was filled with jumbo lump crab meat and seasoned really well. I don’t normally like hollandaise sauce but it was really good.

I have become a repeat offender of Creme Cafe and definitely recommend it for brunch. I have not had dinner there yet but it’s on my list to check out.
